Sean has figured out how to move, but unfortunately...he can only move backward. He ended up under the chair today and instead of an immediate rescue, I ran to get the camera - poor baby!!

Well, it's been a busy weekend! I always am a little (okay...a lot) sad when Sunday night is here, but I really do enjoy every day and I'm trying not to live only for the weekends! I have had a lot of fun with the boys this weekend - doing a whole lot of NOTHING!

Sean is able to get up on his knees and do a little "rocking"...time to start the baby-proofing : )

Look at this handsome set of guys after their bath tonight. I really love these towels. Thank you so much for the gift Jane Boyea!! We use them for every bath and they are awesome!! (I had a very hard time limiting the number of pictures...I figured that no one would mind too much ; )

The toys always find their way into Momma's room...(Kellan thinks he's holding a "duck")

I'm sure you notice the imbalance of pictures - my excuse is that Sean is a very willing subject, while Kellan...is not : )

On a side note...
Tonight, as we were cleaning up toys downstairs before bed, Kellan was putting away his ball and bat and said very calmly..."play ball Momma (pause) play ball." So precious!

This is how I found the baby doll this afternoon...she must have been thirsty : )

 

The boys had a bit of play time together this afternoon. Kellan likes to be near his brother and sets his toys up next to Sean any chance he gets.

 

We think that pants are over-rated ; )

We had a very nice day today that began with a lovely Skype call from Granny Barry (It was wonderful to chat with you and we need to talk again soon)! With the exception of a quick trip to the grocery store, much of the day was spent quietly (I use the term very loosely) at home. Just before bed tonight, as the boys were playing downstairs, I took the opportunity to wash the dishes.

As I was in the kitchen, I could hear happy sounds from the living room. After several minutes though, I started to hear "Ma-ma-mma" as Seanie began to cry. I went to see what was wrong and instead of an immediate rescue...I got the camera. Kellan had stacked pillows all around Sean (pillows are his new favorite toys). Kellan was having such fun, but Sean was not and he wanted OUT!

 

Does he look guilty to you?

 

Thank you Gramma Denno for the new living room rug! We really like it and all that "soft space" it is very nice for play time.

A few hours ago, I posted pics of my "night owl"....this guy is my "early bird" ; )

This is how Kellan has spent the last two nights before bed. He loves this kind of "work" . . . what a great boy! (Kellan can't get enough of this "McQueen book" - thank you Eve, Auntie Jennifer, and Uncle John!)

Hello friends and family,

Sorry that we've been missing lately. My camera is on it's way out and Gramma Denno's camera (she was kind enough to loan it to us) needs batteries. We've stayed busy though and had a nice weekend. Yesterday we went shopping - the highlight for Kellan was chasing Katie and Kylie around in the restaurant and at the mall. He has so much fun with you girls!

The boys are growing up and learning new things all the time. Kellan is really starting to use even more imaginative play (and words). He loves to stage little accidents and races with his "Cars" while Sean drops to his belly when he's placed in a sitting position - he wants to move so it will probably not be long!

Today, Kellan took all the pillows out of my bedroom and dropped them on the playroom floor so that Sean would have a soft place to bounce and he would have a soft place to land when he dove to the floor. What a guy. He ran around with Daddy's hat on most of the day - he's growing up so fast, and if I do say so, very well.
