the park...

Well, I've continued to fail all the frequent blog guests by posting so infrequently!! Very sorry and we will try harder to remember the camera on our outings. Tonight, we went for a walk to the park and, because I promised Auntie Jennifer I would, we actually brought the camera (did you see the collage up there?). We were walking home and ran into our neighbors Scott and Christine who were out for a walk with their little girl. As we got to the end of the street Christine said "Where is all this water coming from?" and then "What are those people doing on your yard?" Then she noticed that all the water was coming from our house!! I should have taken a photo, but I didn't think of it...There was a flood of water coming up from the ground...a water main break...LOTS of water...

The big trucks came...backhoe and all...Kellan had a blast and it turned into a bit of a neighborhood party/visit. All in all, a "fun" event..."when life hands you lemons" ; )...

Okay, So I've been truly terrible about posting pics on the blog. This summer is flying by and I can't seem to keep up or to get my camera out enough. We went camping the last 3 days though and had a blast with the Bishop family! Thank you so much Mandy, Ross, Katie, and Kylie for making the trip so much fun (and feeding us yummy "camp" food!). I must confess that I did not think camping was for us after the first (ROUGH) night in our "new" (1975 Trillium) camper. We had a much better time after that though and think that we will have many years of camping fun ahead of us with our little "egg" camper : ) True to my current state, I didn't have the camera out much! Sorry!! If you need to see more pics though - be sure to check out the link to Eve's blog and see all the fabulous new photos that Auntie Jennifer has posted of our perfect cousin, Eve and of their visit in June! Thank you Auntie Jennifer for the new photos - they are EXCELLENT!!

XOXO Katie and two VERY TIRED camper boys ; )

Milk and cookies game

Kellan and Sean played a little game before bed. How big is Sean? And isn't Kellan such a wonderful big brother!! Notice the "farmer tan" on Sean's arms...we went to Kylie's birthday party at camp today, so there is a bit of dirt there too ; )

Sean and Granny Barry share a taste for Raisin Bran ; )
We had a visit from Aunt Anne, Uncle Gary, Samantha and Danielle a few days ago...Kellan insisted on setting the table - He did a very nice job ; )

a "juicy" Seanie boy ; )
Samantha and Danielle were fantastic on the trampoline!
Kellan loves to take turns on the coaster...especially when he can have a "push start."
