Maybe this will help my success with Skype calls!! Ireland Time... A clock for those of us (ME!) who can NEVER figure out the time difference!! ...and here is the USA time...for comparison...

Just a pic to say thank you to Auntie Jennifer (Uncle John and Eve too) for the super cute outfit...My mommy didn't put it one me until just a couple of days ago (when it got COLD!) and there is not too much room left for me to grow. She loves it though so I will probably be living in it until I can't squeeze in anymore.

Thank you!
XOXO
Sean

P.S. I'm sorry to have my hand in my mouth for the picture...Mommy did try to take one without it, but I just couldn't cooperate - it tastes sooo good!

The Regatta?!

So, for fun today we went to see Gramma at her "Flag Happy!" display in Norwood NY. They were having their annual Regatta?! They had a big sign out stating that they were holding snowmobile races on the river - yup...SNOW mobile. I seriously thought that it was a misprint, but it turns out that is exactly what they did...have you ever heard of such a thing? Is it just a "make your own fun when you live in the middle of nowhere" thing? Well, Kellan loved it even though it was LOUD. I took several pics of us and this is the closest he would come to looking at the camera. He wouldn't take his eyes off the drivers for a second. After each race he kept asking for more.
Kellan and Momma XOXO

They really did race SNOW mobiles on the water...who knew?!

On a side note...Gramma took Kellan back down to the water later for more, but they were back within about two minutes - it seems that her nerves could not take it when some drivers fell in and one was almost (according to her) hit by another snowmobile. She immediately told Kellan that he is NEVER allowed to participate in such foolishness ; )

The unlucky ones had to be fished out by this rig...they are well prepared because I hear that they do this every year.

Sean was safely (he only looks like he is dangling a bit) back with Gramma and the flags : )

I had 2 very tired little boys on the way home - you can see Sean in the mirror...he had a big day too : )

Carl would have loved to share this experience with his boys - it was his kind of adventure for sure. Kellan really had a good time and Sean was wonderful - we hope to go camping often!

These two little people are what is right with the world. These boys, and my family and friends who are always there for me. I've thought about Carl a lot today - not any more than most days I guess, but it had a new meaning. Things should have been very different, so many things have gone wrong to take us away from the vision that we had for our future. Kellan and Sean are exactly as we would have wished them, and I am so grateful for them. With the help of our family and friends, I want to teach each of them to be confident, strong, caring men (who love to fly of course) as Carl would have wanted. I would love for them to have his work ethic and to really know how to have fun. If they grow up to be as handsome as daddy it will just be a bonus -

It's never easy to know what to say or to know if I should even post the "tough stuff," but this is what we have been faced with. We love Carl and miss him. We are sad that he is lost to us, but so grateful that he is in Heaven where he has found a new peace and joy - we will see him again -

Happy Anniversary
We love you Carl -

I don't know why I don't seem to be adding enough pics lately. We are keeping really busy...maybe it's the heat, because it is REALLY HOT! Well here are a couple pics of our boys... I was thinking today how very proud Carl would be of them -I'm sure he is!

One COOL GUY!!

Just a little comparison...how they have grown in just a few months : )

We love to follow cousin Eve's blog and just had to post a comparison pic...Eve (on the left) and Kellan (on the right - of course) have a very similar hairstyle - Too sweet! Sean would have made the pic too except...he doesn't have enough hair ; )

Thanks for all the great posts Auntie Jennifer!!

We've been quite busy the last few days, but for some reason, the camera has not come out...I'll do better!

Happy 40th (belated)!

I have to say a huge apology for not wishing Granny and Granddad Barry a happy anniversary on Sunday. It's not like me to miss two whole days on the blog (well, during the summer anyway)! I do hope that you were able to enjoy the day...Sean and Kellan send you lots of hugs!

Just cute!

We've been getting very domestic lately...Kellan helped me "pit" some cherries to freeze

"Folding Laundry is fun!!"

He does dishes too ; )

*You may notice Kellan's (almost constant) lack of pants - he's showing some interest in potty training and since it's Summer we keep pants off as much as possible when we are inside for quick trips to the potty ; )

Whew! We had a really nice and a REALLY busy day!! Kellan and Gramma Denno went to a baseball game and he even got a "big boy" haircut! He cried some, but was pretty brave! He is SOOO... handsome and looks even more like his daddy with the shorter hairdo. Enjoy ALL the pics tonight ; )

Sean was a little fussy and Kellan thought a "good (cook)book" might help.

Perhaps another volume?

It's rare that I make it in the pics - Gramma D. took this one : )

Kellan's big boy cut - "ooh, la, la!"

What a handsome couple of boys XOXO

**Thank you Auntie Jennifer, Uncle John, and Cousin Eve for the great outfit, I've gotten lots of use out of it : ) Love, Kellan

Goodnight!

Sean had his pics taken today and he did a great job - so handsome. The quality of the pics here is not great, since they are just meant to be viewed as "proofs." You can still see how CUTE these boys are and check out the "comparison."
XOXO
