Happy Saturday all,

We went to a farmers market this morning. I loved to watch all the people and check out the action. They had some amazing flowers and some really yummy smelling food. We came home with some beets (daddy loves them) and some snap peas that are sooooo good.

A perfect Summer day.

Kellan is so much fun these days. His walking is getting really good so I can begin to worry about him falling a little bit less. We went down to the band shell tonight and listened to the band. They were really good and kellan clapped right along with the audience. The bottom pic was actually taken as a plane went over...he is a bit obsessed with planes...hmmm...I wonder where he gets that?!?!

Just on a side note, Kellan has started a new pastime. He looks for fun little items around the house and "files" them. So far today, I've found the keys, a few blocks, a box of wipes and a toy car in the GARBAGE!! Gotta keep an eye on this little one!!

We can not go to the back of the building without taking a few minutes to swing. We found a sandbox for free down the street and filled it yesterday so that will be fun for the rest of the summer : )

Hello All,

Sorry there have been few posts recently. Kellan had another bump and this time we took him to the ER. He's fine, but it is a scary thing when a little one is hurt.

Now that we are all recovered...Kellan took some time out of his busy play schedule to help me do the laundry today. (This is how our "clean" clothes are treated.) I had to hang the clothes 4 times because he thought the job involved taking the wet clothes off the drying rack...really cute!!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

The weather here today was perfect, so Kellan and I took a walk around the lake. Since Daddy is in Fargo for the day we planned to go play at one of the local beaches, but they were so busy that we decided to just sit down by the rose garden and watch the planes. Kellan was not at all disappointed since "plane watching" is one of his favorite things to do : )

Yeah...about the paper bag. This pic was taken a couple of days ago (thank you Auntie Jennifer for the outfit...one of our favorites!) when Kellan found a bag and started carrying it around the apartment in a big circle - living room, hall, dining room, kitchen, living room, reverse and repeat... I ended up taping the bottom half up so that he wouldn't trip over it...he had such fun just going in circles. Of all the toys...a paper bag maintained his attention ; )

 

Hello All,

We were going to go with Daddy to San Antonio yesterday, but were not able to because the flight was oversold. Check out the bruises on our little man. He's a great walker, but it comes at a price. He bumped his forehead and tooth within three days of each other. Kellan had to go to the dentist today and be checked out. His tooth will be okay, but for now he is enjoying some special treatment (e.g., did someone say "milkshake?").
