Thanks Em for these pics ; ) And...they reminded me that I should have mentioned how very much Kellan LOVED Mitch. I'm not sure Mitch was quite so enamored with Kellan, but he tolerated all the attention really beautifully. What a nice boy he is (Mitch...Kellan too of course).

Hello All,

We are home from our trip to NYC and it was a special experience. We got to spend some quality time with Em and Erin (You are the best!! Thanks so much for your hospitality and patience ; )

We also got to see some of the Thanksgiving parade and we had a whole lot of fun when we stopped at Chuck E Cheese on the way home. Kellan LOVED all the games. There will be more pics to post later (when Em e-mails them to me - hint hint), but for now, enjoy the collage.

Not many pictures from the weekend. Sorry that we've not posted much...it's just been really busy...I'm sure everyone can relate. We are going to NYC this week for Thanksgiving though (Look out Bee and Em - we're comin!!). We plan to see the parade and even watch as the parade balloons are blown up the night before. I should have lots of nice pictures so keep your fingers crossed that we have nice weather.

I don't usually put pics up that are not of the boys, but I just thought that this was kinda fun. We were all set up for a cozy night in (watching Cars...again) on Saturday and we each had a drink ready to go. What a blessing these moments are. I always think of Carl at times like this.


We were putting up the Christmas decorations this weekend and Kellan found a use for the stockings...he came out of the bedroom saying "Momma, shoes." Of course he wouldn't walk anymore once I had the camera, but it's still cute!

So sorry that we've been missing in action. We've loved all of your photos cousin Eve...so sorry we've not been in touch (we will write over the weekend)! Momma's been really busy, but she had to post tonight 'cause SEANIE HAS TEETH! Well, kinda. When Momma got home from school, she was playing with Sean and thought she saw a little something different in his mouth. Sure enough...when she felt in there she noticed that his two bottom teeth are just peaking out. There are bumpy little bits there, where there were only gummy-gums yesterday! Yeah Sean - you are soooo big!!

I LOVE being home with my boys...it's usually a busy day on Saturday, trying to play "catch-up" so this morning has been really fun. A nice cup of tea and hanging out with my boys! SO SWEET!

It's still early (only 9:30 AM) so we still have the day ahead. You can get in a lot of cuddle time when you start at 5:30 AM : ) Hope you are all having a great day!

Sean went to the doctor today for his "well child" visit. He's doing great! Here are the stats...
Length 28 inches (97th Percentile!)
Weight 22.7 pounds (97th Percentile!)

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It was a really nice day. Aunt Kathy and Poppa came to visit with Gramma Denno and Gramma Baker. We went out for Chinese food (Kellan LOVED it) and then came home for cake and ice cream. Kellan didn't want to eat the cake, but he loved blowing out the candles for mommy!

Thank you Em and Erin for the BEAUTIFUL flowers!! They are SO pretty! I can't get over it! They smell really wonderful too! You two are the greatest. We can't wait for our visit! We'll bring the stuffing (especially for you Erin...is that joke old yet? ; ).

We didn't take too many pictures today. It looks pretty nice in the shots, but it was REALLY windy and kinda rainy all day. I hoped to recreate the "in the leaf" shots that we had of Kellan (see October '07 -- so cute!) in the pumpkin suit two years ago...Sean would have had a very wet bottom if I tried (and...he's not really sitting up yet). He's still super cute!

Kellan likes to go to sleep with a toy and sometimes his tent...he played in bed for a while tonight before "passing out."

Kellan started to turn on the light when it's time for bed, so I dug out this little lantern toy that I've had forever. He likes it...but still turns on the BIG light to look at books...not a battle I'm gonna pick right now...

All about mail today...this morning we brought a birthday package to the Post office to mail to cousin Eve. (We hope you get it in time for your first Birthday Eve!! - We are very excited for you...so excited, in fact, that we forgot to wrap part of your gift...oops!) And...this evening, Kellan and Sean got a spooky -- but fun (and noisy) Halloween card from Em and Erin ; ). Kellan loved getting mail...very fun, thank you so much!! XOXO
