Kellan loves to play ball...really loves it! He knows what he is doing too - precious!!

 

 

 

 

While Kellan played baseball in the neighbors yard (they are very kind), Sean napped in the sling quite happily.

 

I am a very proud mommy today! I usually don't post pics that don't have a handsome little boy in them, but this one is special because I want to be able to look back and remember this milestone. I went in the playroom today to check on Kellan (it was too quiet) and he was sitting on the floor doing a puzzle. I played with him for a minute and then left him to his "job." Later on in the evening when I went to put something away in the playroom, I found the puzzle sticking out of the shelf, but very close to put away. He did this alone, without any reminders or help. What a great boy!! It made me so proud...and happy...and a bit teary that he is growing up so much. XOXO

 

Okay Lynn, I'm inspired to try scrapbooking. This was fun and REALLY simple...so special to look back at "old" pics of Kellan. Sean's "book" will be next ; )

Here are a few pics that Mom took on her birthday (7/6/09). Kellan is fascinated with mowing and LOVED sitting on Poppa Genser's knee while he mowed - he talks about it all the time(e.g., "Mamma, Poppa mow knee. Knee Mamma, Poppa mow. Poppa mow Mamma. Mamma, Poppa Knee... you get the idea...he liked it a lot.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMA DENNO!!

I had so much fun at Park Safari yesterday. My friend Katie and I loved feeding the animals and I even got to ride in the car WITHOUT my car seat --- AWESOME! The water park was great too, I want to go another day and spend lots more time there.

*Not sure if you noticed, but our camera was acting all weird...making everything glow - errrr! Although I know my boys are angelic, it bugged me!! Well, I figured out how to reset it and we are all better - Yeah!!

I couldn't help posting this...I saw this expression when I downloaded the pics and I just knew that I had seen that face before...deja vu!! It didn't take me long to find this pic of Kellan - he was older, but you can see the same "Whaaaat?" face ; ) So cute!!

 

Happy 4th everyone! Thanks Mandy for reminding us about the vintage car show going on downtown...we really enjoyed checking out all the cars. He shares his Daddy's taste because Kellan especially liked the VW Bug(s) that were there.

Just a quick post and then it's off to bed for me. Generally Sean sleeps when Kellan goes to bed, but tonight he was wide awake - a perfect opportunity for a photo shoot : )

The first two pics were taken this morning and you can see that Kellan just loves to "bug" his baby brother...it seems he's much more fun when he's awake!! (ERRRR!!)
